Secluded, peaceful and in nature with stunning far reaching views of the Clwydian Hills. Our shepherd’s hut is situated near picturesque Ruthin and Llangollen in the heart of Denbighshire. Our location in North Wales also makes us a gateway into Snowdonia National Park.

Surrounded by nature, beautiful countryside and our sheep, you will most certainly feel a sense of relaxation and “getting away from it all” here at Cae Main Shepherd’s Hut.

The views towards the Clwydian Range – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are truly stunning. The area is a haven for walkers. There are many peaks along the Clwydian Hills with the highest and most popular being Moel Famau. We are just 5 miles from Oneplanet Adventure with its forest walks and some of the best mountain biking trails in the UK, and lakeside lovers will love the circular walks around Llyn Brenig and Llyn Alwen.

Cae Main Shepherd’s Hut is the perfect rural getaway giving the tranquility and privacy couples and solo travelers yearn for. With excellent WIFI, 4G and immersed in nature and beautiful countryside, our glamping accommodation in North Wales has much to offer on so many levels.

There are some outstanding dark sky locations too within the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB. At night, light your campfire to toast marshmallows, taking in glorious sunsets and the dark skies this area is renowned for.

If the weather isn’t up for much, snuggle up inside Cwtch with some of our cosy Welsh wool blankets. This sheltered outside seating area with a view is just the place to curl up with a book, enjoy a cuppa or a nice glass of wine, even if it is a bit rainy or breezy outside.
